The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
