Star Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Stance After Lending His Voice To Contentious Coronavirus Documentary

Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a feature-length documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of vaccinations and praises ex- cabinet secretary the political figure.

The Documentary's Provocative Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a bestselling book published by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the health crisis for assertions that the virus was linked to a problematic version of the seasonal immunization.

Her writing partner, a producer, has also written books with conspiracy-prone figure the Infowars host. Heckenlively wrote online praising Neeson's role in the film.

A Strong Rebuttal

The team of the actor have issued a response strongly denying implications that he holds anti-vaccine views.

"We all recognize that misconduct might be present within the medical sector, but that cannot be equated to being against vaccines," the comment states. "He never has been, and cannot be described as, anti-vaccination. His long work with Unicef reinforces his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The statement continued that the actor had no hand in the project's editorial content and that inquiries about its claims should be directed to the filmmakers.

Key Assertions Within the Feature

According to the documentary, the script spoken by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It posits that "science has become deeply influenced by politics."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't properly vetted."
  • The film takes aim at Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused psychological harm that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it references a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Previous Controversy and Ongoing Debates

The documentary includes a past television report about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, RFK Jr instructed the Centers for Disease Control to alter its longstanding position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the film, despite a recent study from the WHO confirming no connection has been found.

A Previous Record of Support

Differing from the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a Unicef global ambassador.

In 2022, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," stating that "The debate about vaccines in recent years has lost sight of how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This marks not the end of our narrative. This is the start of a new chapter."
